We got this from Mitch Rosen, a well established leather company to break in leather holsters. This is the right way to lube the holster when it is new to break it in. To use this product, Apply to the inside of the holster. Coat all areas that contact the gun. This product will not harm the firearm or the leather. Use as much or as little as you want. You can use it within five minutes of applying. This small container holds 1/2 fluid ounce. This will break in a lot of holsters though, depending on use. Some holsters need break in.
