This is very HOT spray and reaches out to about 15 feet. The stream has to be aimed at the face to get a good hit, but, it won't get back on you as much as cones will. The flip top design is the only one we recommend in a can like this as it is easy to use and not likely to accidentally go off. These are good if you want more spray and have a way to conceal it. You do not need a permit in Florida to carry this. This spray has a 10% OC concentration and 2,000,000 Schofield Heat Units. We use this exact can at work, in uniform and it works just fine. Don't concentrate too much on formulations and SHU's, it all works about the same. This is a quality product and the only can we carry for a reason.
